I have experienced several missing sound files (playing as Louis XIV in a custom standard map game), i.e:
.\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Assets\Sounds\Units\JetCommandControl.wav and some others that I forgot.
In addition, I also experienced issue with a wonder movie, when I just finished building the Hanging Gardens wonder, the movie clip didn't load and there was a message about could not find the HangingGardens.bik file or something. However when I checked through the game directory, the file was there. (.\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Assets\Art\Movies\Wonders\HangingGardens.bik).
Anyone experiencing similar issues?
Aside from these issues, choppy leader clips, AI diplomacy bug (when AI offered peace treaty for 10 turns, you can actually ask for anything and they'll just accept the deal), and the sluggish performance towards the late game or when the map is totally revealed (and this was only on the standard 7 CIVs terra map, I was too horrified to even try playing with larger maps after reading some of the threads here), the game was just great. The background musics were very beautiful and exceptionally done (you gotta love Baba Yetu!).
I Really hope Firaxis can fix these performance and technical issues in the upcoming patch, cause they're really quite distracting from what would have been such an awesome game.
