CS slingshot

CS with oracle on monarch. I just did this the other day. Founded confucanism converted got civil service with oracle as a spiritual civ. Just a question, how often do this happen? Does this mean i prolly shouldnt be able to lose this game unless something strange happen? I did have gold and sevral flood plains cottages in my capital + lumber for chopping.

The CS slingshot gets you off to a good start. It's still possible to lose on Monarch and higher. The slingshot just gives you a slight advantage on that level.

Point is if you manage to pull it off in adiation to getting the benefits it will also mean that the ai is slooow.(for the oracle for cs not oracle for col).

Oracling CS at Prince or lower isn't too rough. For monarch and higher, the slingshot usually implies oracling CoL and using the first GP to bulb CS, with the exception of rare super starts.

Oyzar - you answered your own question. Starting with multiple floodplains and a gold resource provided the food, production, and research to pull it off. As for being unable to lose, I'd say that this advantage ensures that if you stay on your toes, you'll win. Enjoy your game!

you're certainly able to lose ; click retiring and it's done
But having the slingshot certainly will propel you far ahead for a while if you don't.
