Culture question

In the DyP mod, the pyramids give a monument to every city, and expire with Nationalism. These monuments contribute 1 culture per turn, two once they are 1000 years old.

My question is, If the pyramids expire, and I rebuild all of the monuments, will they count as being built when I first captured the pyramids, or when I actually built them the second time, or will their age just be the number of years they've existed, just cutting out the time in between the expiry and me rebuilding them? It's kind of important, because I'm going for cultural victory without building any wonders, and every bit counts.

Quick answer is: No. The Civ3 system has no provision for allowing a player to build something that a wonder provides and has no provision for replacing the culture of an improvement that an obsolete wonder has "destroyed". If you build a monument in a city before you build the Pyramids and do not sell it, then that monument will still be around and its culture will continue on. Otherwise, you are out of luck.

So, if I rebuild it in 1600 AD, it will only be as if I first built it in 1600 AD?

I had been building a few, but I switched them all over to temples because I didn't want to lose the production.

Anyway, thanks for the answer
