Custom Civ

Just a thought for you modders out there.

What about creating an option in the 'choose civ screen' where the player can choose the traits, UU and starting technologies of the Civ they want to play.

I don't know if its possible but if anyone wants to give it a go I'd love to try it!!!!

well, i don't know if it's a so good idea, (no offense)

if you have the possibility to start with the UU and tech a lot stronger than other civs, i think that's kill the intterest of the game. no?

Probably. Maybe there would be a way to balance the choices, at least this would give me some kind of customization.

I just want a Philosophical, Aggresive civ with a better UU than the Phalanx!
Samurai would be nice.

Is that asking too much?

not as much as aggressive, industrial and with pretorians
strating with mining and wheel (to get connected bronze mines very early)

Ah, Good point! However I think I'd get bored of having the best of the 'Aggresive' traits.

I like playing cIV, not just winning.
