Dangerous hack/bug in Multiplayer!

I recently played a game (well just right now) and I lost because of this :

Apparently there is a way to make the game display one civ on the scoreboard; make it display another in diplomacy; and allow you to be another civ alrogether! It's confusing and can completely throw you off. Now the dangerous part :

The offender who used the above trick brought some mounted warriors down to me. The next turn the person right next to me dropped! The other players were saying things like : "did you do that?" "Goddess why did you do that."

Than she declared war on me and I lost.

Is this some sort of drop hack?

The offender's name is The_Goddess.

is this the 1.27f Patch? I had a weird experience the other day playing a MP game where a swordsman from my galley transported deep into another guys empire in one move. It was about an 10 or 12 square jump and I'm still not sure how it happened.

I have seen weird freaky 3-4 space "transportations" by stack of units strangely prior to 1.27.
