I'm quite alarmed that we don't have key defensive positions manned. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I've been in several team and solo MP games where unprotected workers have been captured. We have a city which stands empty, and our copper is not guarded and actually doesn't have any defender within 3 turns, other than the new axe which is due to come out. On top of that we have an undefended worker, also within striking range. If Loco and Aloha decided to cooperate on their turns, they could get into position to make us choose the city, the worker, or the copper. Only 1 defender in position for 3 things to defend is a losing proposition every time.

Let's try not to lose this thing by letting our guard down. I propose that all cities and strategic resources must have a garrison at all times.

I agree, we should defend them as soon as possible.

Our priorities should be sinsburg, ploughland and the copper (And later on the south once the others start getting galleys.)

Indeed. Axes all the way.

Agreed but rather than mandate that all these things must be defended at all times how about we have to have defensive units closer to these things than any foriegn units.

Problem is you don't always know where the foreign units are if they're hidden out in the fog, but yes, I get your point and agree with it (mostly). ;)

On the subject of foreign hidden units, we also need to have units scouting outside our territory, to warn of enemies coming our way, as soon as we can afford it.
