deity + ?

Hello all,
I am new here in forums, i am old fan of civ 2, multiplayer edition made our (me and one friend) old dream to play against eachother.
Here are my 3 questons wich amazing me :
1. Most masters of the game talking about Deity plus 3 or plus 4 what that should mean ? if that some pach or you talking of hardening rules in deity ?
2. As we play multiplayer game its alwais posible to make saves every single turn, than sending giles xxx.sav to another comp for example and open that saved games from position of your ops. it cant be detected and as i know cant be avoided.Decision please?
3.Big maps needs time to be played so usualy its completely imposible to finish them in 1 sesion. multiplaying sesions goes to scheduling time of all human players ( most of us working in diferent time zones). How you proceed usualy?

Deity plus levels only work in classic, as far as I am aware.

In any case, take these instructions at your own risk.

In your civ 2 folder, open the "game" text file.

Scroll down until you find the line "@DIFFICULTY"

Under the "Deity" line, write in more difficulty levels.

Then, if you want Barbarian Wrath, scroll down to "@BARBARITY"

Add an extra level of Barbarity under the "Raging Hordes" line.

As for the other questions, try the multiplayer forum.
