diplomatic victory

I now how you can win on a diplomatic victory, but then you must be in modern times with fission and build United Nations etc..


with the greeks, a scientific civ a had researched all thing on 1040 AD!!! that's much to late to be in modern times before 2050 or not??

Diplomatic victory is depressing. I accidentally won that way. I am just a few turns from Modern Armor in Cheiftain game (my first game that I succeeded at) where the other civs are still using knights for most of their offensives. I may go mop them up when I have time, switch to communism, and get a military victory by 2050. I am in 1958 and well into the Modern Age.

do you know when you entered: middle ages and the industrial ages??

I hit the industrial ages in the late 1700s I think, and the middle ages around 12-1300

i hit the middle ages in 1040 and now in 1730 and almost gonna hit industrial... so i will get modern time before 2050 you think?
