( pangaea warlord large map early industrial age no gold)

ok so i am the aztecs and i am on a pangaea map with greece under and next to me and arabia under them. carthage has like 3 cities above me and one to the left. (i am on the right coast) Celts are toward the northwest. The french are far west, and the germans on the west coast. Russia has a large island and a few smaller ones. i have embassy with all except france and russia ( no money left for embassys) greese is a powerful civ who just took over zulu and india single handedly( i got some cities from thAT though) So they go and pick on me. Next turn right away i go and gather all the people with my embassies and embargo them. they wouldnt go for RoPs or MPPs or Alliances and some reason they are always angry with me. I need an ally now! what do i do!?

Have you broken any ROPs, MPPs or gpt deals in the past? It may be that your rep is already shot. The fact that they're angry with you shouldn't affect your ability to trade with them. I spend large parts of most games with everyone furious with me, but they'll still trade. Attitude (polite, annoyed, furious, etc) is separate from reputation. It would help if you could post a save or some screenshots.

To be a little more specific, you have to stick to these agreements for the 20 turns you agreed upon. (The 20 turns are default by the game).

And what even easier happens, ordinary peace treaties. When you sign peace with an AI you have to stick to it for 20 turns. If you re-declare within the 20 turns, they won't trade with you again.

Whenever I do that, I generally don't have any intention of letting them be able to trade with me again :D
