Ok, I hope that this question has not been asked yet and I get flamed. Used the search button, but did not get any results so here it is:

Is there a way to switch on a display setting that shows me the squares controlled (i.e. harvested) by a city? I know only of the Grid (CTR+G) switch but that does not show me what I want.
It's a pain to "calculate" the distance to a new to be founded city so that squares won't overlap.

Thanks!

I don't believe there is one.

Can't believe they haven't fixed that in a patch yet - I think it's very obvious.

Does anybody have an idea how to contact them for a suggestion?

there is none, sorry :( but strangely, there is one for the freakin editor...

I will NEVER understand why they couldn't give us that and a alphabetically sortable city list.......

ditto: and while we are on the subject, how is that list ordered? founding city date?

Yup, it's build order. So if you capture a capital, it'll go up to 2nd on the city list.

you can also sort by shield production, $, science and happy/content pop. by clicking those cute little icons at the top.

Handy for choosing wich city to build that big shield item you need.

rangers85: that's what i thought, but when cities are razed and rebuilt, they get stuck in somewhere in the middle, neither end nor where the name was the first time round :( Very sucky if you have to search through 310 names for New Bangalore......

I don't use it myself and can't remember exactly where I saw it (but it must have been in the Creation & Customization section, probably in the Completed Graphics Modpacks forum), but I believe that there is a graphical mod which highlights the city radius (so you always see it). Could be I am misremembering, but I'm pretty sure I saaw it a long time ago.

well I know if you drag the mouse with the left button pressed with the settler(like the goto command), it'll show a outline of the city radius(or is it cultural?) at the stop your mouse stops. I would love to have a function where it'll display all the already established city radius tho..
