As you can see in the game I included I have conquered the most land and am Scientifically advanced but my culture sucks. I a have a couple of great wonders and one small but few temples and stuff.
Please give some advice on when I need to start building this stuff and whether or not it helps or hurts corruption(will it add to corrupption) and what else I need to do in this game.

I've never heard of city improvements hurting corruption!

Police stations and courthouses are corruption reducers, unless you Edited the game so that temples and cathedrals also are. Start building.

As for game advice. Either get ready for SS launch or finish the world conquest. Domination victory sucks! Or you can give civs a lot of stuff and try to win diplomatically.

I think having your entire empire connected (roads/harbors etc. and also by having your culture connected if you understand what i mean) decreases corruption

Corruption is a major problem in CIV3. If you want to take it down:

- Make cities not to far to your palace or Forbiden Palace
- Don't do too many (depends on the map...)
- Make them celebrate a We Love The King Day
- Build Police Stations and Courthouses
- Choose a good government (democracy, republic...)

And choose a comercial CIV

You can get a corruption calculator somewhere in civfanatics...
... and also a MOD that reduces corruption!
... or editing a scenario to reduce it!

Oh, and no building Increases corruption (Jesus...)

Good luck!

To save PH76 a post, next time try to compress the game file. :)

I think Domination wins are there, for those who cant be stuffed destroying the last remaining civ, when the game is clearly already won :) Its also damm hard to avoid:)

So, I dont think they suck :) I see it like a resignation by the AI
when it is beaten.

To the main posting courthouse etc help corruption but in outer cities they do absolutely nothing, so build them only where it counts

Making sure you have lots of access to luxary resources (connect all your cities via roads / rails / harbours / airports as necessary) - maybe incease the luxary %age on the domestic advisor - this should increase happiness and push cities into WLT<leader> day - reduces corruption a treat.
