Do you plan your affinity or just go with the resources on the map?

Predetermining your Affinity before turn zero seems silly, unless you intend to restart until you get an optimal starting area with abundant Firaxite, Floatstone, or Xenomass (as revealed by Retrograde Thrusters of course.)

Well, if someone's been playing a lot of purity and supremacy games lately, they might want to switch things up and go harmony just for a change of pace. That same person might not like restarting a bunch of times in a row either thinking it feels cheaty, and might prefer to just play the map as they get it.
