i was in full aprehension of this fact, but could think of no other place to post the poll. Besides, the idea is to find out how many people play civ1, not the other way round.

We have been getting a few of these threads lately.

These lurkers are becoming diseases like the Spanish brought over to the Aztecs and we are the Aztecs. These threads insult us and harm us and make us frusterated. Except the fact that we wont fall.

This is not only focused on you diab, but all of the other people here. Diab this thread isnt trolling but we've had some and this could render them. So this one isnt bad, but others do really pis us off sometimes.

Actually if you want to buy civilization 3 YOU CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE.
Someone else (no names) searched it in THE CAPITAL and couldn't find it, so in the city i am in the chances are even smaller.

So there is no chance of finding civ1 - not that i would care.

I explained this somewhere else - over here a newly released game would cost almost 1/3 of minimum wage and almost 1/4 of mom's salary - so i would have to be INSANE to purchase a game. If i had money OF COURSE i would buy all games (did i mention 90% of all software related stuff over here are ilegal ?).

So i had no choice. 90% of us are in the same situation.
We have no other choice.

I do have one and so do my parents - but they are not that kind of credit cards, i tried it.

Listen, you go to cdaccess and you can get it there for a couple dollars (plus shipping).

Not worth it. Better free and in less than an hour than a few dolars and in several days.

P.S.: I am not trying to convince anybody that aquireing games ilegaly is good. I am just saying that if you are in a relatively wealthy country then you should but it.

Downloading civ1 is a crime. And more importantly, it is against the forum rules. It cannot be justified here. Besides, if you can afford a computer you can certainly afford to buy civ1 legally. Civ1 is not expensive!

So stop making up silly excuses

This problem of posting "illegally acquirement of games" happened before. My Romanian friend, please do not replay more about this issue or you will find yourself in an unpleasant situation.
