Can’t 100% blame civ but it’s only happened since I got civ.
M2 MacBook Air with only 8gb memory and 256gb ssd but I’ve normally got about 70-80gb of space free.
What happens is every couple of days the Mac will become really slow. And civ VII will be open plus safari. And then I’ll get warnings that there’s no drive space left and I’ll look and there will be 1gb or less space left. Sometimes I’ve had to delete something just to be able to save my game.
Quitting the game and everything else doesn’t bring the space back but a restart and it’s fine.
