I currently have 4 games running, 2 in each program. I have one game each of the way I play starting in the Future Era and one game each the traditional "barbarians to bombs" way. Losing 1, winning 3
I'm in the same horrible situation a couple of other people here have mentioned - I really like Civ V, the way it looks, the way combat plays out, some of the other stuff, but it lacks depth. After playing it as much as I have, I'm just bored, and I can barely get through the medieval stages of the game these days before I quit and leave it for too long to return.
On the other hand, while Civ IV has the depth and quality of gameplay that Civ V seems to lack, it definitely looks dated, and the longer I go without playing it the more I forget how. I used to play on Emperor and now I can barely compete on Prince, even when I can be bothered putting up with the older style and now obvious flaws. I feel like a failure on IV because I can't play as well as I used to, and it doesn't have the aesthetic/simple-fun draw of V to keep me interested on a basic level.
So I sort of try to play both, but I really can't play either any more
