Does switch have jersey colour options?

On the PC version you can change the colour of your jersey before starting a game, but I can't find a way to do this on the switch version. Does this feature exist and how do you do it if it does? I know the AI gets assigned different jersey colours if there are clashes.

No. There is no way to change the colors.

I can see 4 jersey color options for each civ, including the one you’re playing as, under the “Players” screen in “Advanced Settings” when creating a new game. I’ve only gone to that screen for the first time after the May 2020 update, so I don’t know if the jersey options were added by the May update or if they have always just been hiding there.

They weren't always there, it has been a relatively recent addition. I had a fairly long time away from the game, so I couldn't tell you when it happened, but it's not been there since launch.
