Doesn't say so in the description, and if it doesn't it seems pretty underwhelming. 60 of each yield on a GP burn if you have 20 cities is very little payoff.

It's only there so that you have some rewards before Industrial Era. The belief is still on the stronger side.

As I understand it some of these were nerfed but kept in for simplicity of code.
The main benefit is the freedom of choice to purchase all great person, the extra yields are negligable.

Honestly I think the extra yields should just be removed. They do basically nothing and are just confusing for new players.
