Anyone out there who can help?
Okay, here goes...
I downloaded V 1.29b2, installed it, it shows up in the corner.
Now, I cannot get DOP to work or install. I unstuffed it again and got a folder that is entitled Full_DYP_101r.exe. I downloaded the Drag&Drop Mod and when I use it, it says that it cannot find a Civ3 V1.29b2. I am not the best on a Mac, so please use baby language. Thanks in advance.

Presume you mean DYP, not DOP, and the 'Drag & Drop' is AlanH's mod installer..?
If I remember rightly, to make the 'Drag & Drop' "see" your Civ3 1.29b2 install, drag the Civ3 folder over the 'Drag & Drop' window, which should then appear as an option.
If this doesn't work, make sure that your Civ3 V1.29b2 install is simply named 'Civilization III', otherwise it won't see it when you scan for it. You can always rename one the DYP mod has been applied.
After this, try dragging the DYP_101r.exe file onto the Civ3 icon to install.
I think this is right - any old timers on the Mac Forum here can correct me if I'm wrong!

It seems harder and easier, in a bizarre way... my first game (as Polynesia) I played on too low a level (Warlord I think) but by 2000AD I wasn't even in the Industrial Era, and everyone else was still way back in the stone age (but it was a large map that was all islands... so it took an age to make contact etc etc). Whereas my current game (as Siam) is up to about 1500AD and I'm building APCs, Destroyers and Armor and am making more money per turn than I can shake a stick at... maybe my game playing suddenly improved or something... still, lots of fun, I must remember to sleep tonight!
