DOSCiv1 on DOSBox?

Since Windows XP does not agree with older DOS games. I have found a subsitution that would work. It's known as DOSBox and I have tried it when I played one of my old DOS based game, Star Wars: Dark Forces.

I am wondering if anyone has tried to run Civ1 with DOSBox.

It works great, and even better if you use D-Fend, a free frontend to DOSBox.
