Double Fine's new Kickstarter Adventure game

Tim Schafer(Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle) and Ron Gilbert(Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island) need money to make an old school adventure game. Have you done your duty and given them your money? I've given $110. The total is now 2,2 million and counting(If there already is an existing topic, please merge).

Duty? While I look forward to what they produce they already have several times more money than they asked for and I would hardly call funding their game a duty. And yeah, this has already been going on for a few weeks.

I backed it and look forward to those development videos. Schafer and Gilbert have already said it's going to be 2D animated, which is exciting.

I don't think there are many adventure enthusiasts around here, Lillefix. The hazy, vague promise of "new adventure game!!!" might also be keeping some people from backing it.

Now, Psychonauts 2? Grim Fandango 2? Ron Gilbert's Monkey Island 3? As ridiculous as it sounds, any of those might get over $10 million.
