Drones, Naked leaders and other questions - I need answers!!!

I have been playing Alpha for far too long and now I have a few questions to make:

1 - What is "nerve stappling"? Is it execution? Brainwash? What?

2 - Does anyone knows exactly what happens to the defeated leaders? The interrogation room animation is not very clear about that.

3 - Are the leaders NAKED for interrogatory ?????

4 - What exactly are drones? In the beginning, I tought "Drones" were the same as "rebels", or something like that. But there's a Free Drones faction! So I started to think that "Drones" mean entry-level workers. Now I do not know what exactly are "Drones".

I never got SMAX and really do not know much about its history, but I will dare think that drones are like the mass of the people. It means zangões in Portuguese, but I think it does not help. Maybe since planetfall people has been forced to accomplish every leader's wish and have not freedom of will...

I belive ity says in the datalink that "drones" is just a term for unhappy laborers that have grouped togeather into an angry mob, loosing their individual wills and adopting a mob mentality. And I think nerve stapling would involve implanting some kind of torture/mind controll device into the brains of drones, placing them in a state of forced contentment.

I think the term "agony" would be more accurate than "contentment".
At least that's the impression I got.

Drones generally get the difficult, dirty, dangerous jobs handed down to them by the talents/faction leadership, and have fewer luxuries, less power, and so on. The Free Drones want to stop the exploitation and abuse of drones by non-Drones.

Ah !!!!! Before I forget!!! Did anyone in here get the Faction Editor software for SMAC? It´s great! I just have some problems while editing the graphic files. If anyone wants to talk about custom-made factions, then do so.

I´ve created some nice new factions to boost up my games.

Faction editors? Never even heard about it... I knew you could edit factions through some of the .txt files, but this....

Yer I downloaded one of these edited faction things it had the empire and the rebels from star wars on it.
