Dumb question about +X appeal

When an improvement results in +X appeal, does that mean it raises the appeal by X of each adjacent hex?

I know that is how it works for Hockey Rinks. I would assume other improvements work the same way.

All of them apply to adjacent Appeal (Improvement ones anyway), otherwise, it's "All tiles in X have increased appeal".

This is I think primarily used for National Parks since they are the only ones heavily dependant on Appeal (apart from few Improvements and Civs)

Neighborhoods and Seaside Resorts come to mind.

This is a terrain feature rather than an improvement, but I believe an exception is Old Growth Forest, which only boosts the appeal of it's own tile, not adjacent tiles.

Unless this was changed in GS.

I haven't paid attention since this was brought up last year, but I'd like to know if this mechanic is now working correctly in GS.

You should work on remembering them then, considering how important neighborhoods are for housing!

I play on Prince, it really rarely is a must to push for Housing. HA.

Also Fairly sure Old Growth Forest affects adjacent tiles (maybe?). But its appeal is stronger than the Woods you plant.
