Right, so I get a hankerin for Civ3 about once a year. Each time I forget how to automate workers for pollution.

As far as I remember its "shift + P". Tried that, nothing happened. tried just "P".

Nothing. Found a .pdf list of all shortcuts, it said "shift + P". Tried it again, again nothing. Searched the forum and went through the result for the last hour.

Destroyed the manual years ago. Theres no "automate worker to fix damage" in my game (conquest).

So here I am, asking you what the hell is the right way of doing it?

In Conquests if you go to preferences you can select "Show advanced unit options" or similar. This displays a whole load of actions including automated pollution clearing, bottom centre of the screen, when a worker is selected.

The shortcut should be Shift+D, which is automated cleaning of pollution and craters from bombardment.

I had the same problem until I dug out my trusty manual. It was all good from there.;)

Thanks a whole bunch fellows. You guys are a godsend.

I was about ready to put my fist through the monitor and look up Sid Meyers addres..

Each time I want to play Civ 3 again, the same damn problem. Now with this thread here, I should be good as long as CFC is around.

My manual was destroyed years ago in a bath tub reading incident. :)

Actually, you should be able to find the manual on the game CD. I believe it's in PDF format.

Advance worker options are listed in the civilopedia. Look under index.

But.................... you might drop it inside!:p
