Early Game with Celtia

You should be clearer at what your saying, I understand what your "trying" to say but it's completely illiterate. :)
Unlike you, i seem to be able to spell "you're", that is, the contracted form of "you are", without mistaking it for "your", the adjective.
As for being illiterate and not being clear about what i'm saying...

You're basically saying that it makes no sense that Guerilla III gives withdrawal in all circumstances. Fine. Do you then think that it doesn't make any sense either for Woodsman to give First Strikes and Healing, regardless of the presence of Forests? Would you then say, as you did with Guerilla, that "it was prob a oversight, thats extremely unrealistic, even from a game standpoint." (which i assumed meant "it was probably an oversight, that's extremely unrealistic, even from a gameplay standpoint", but i might be wrong, seeing as how i'm illiterate compared to you) ? If that is the case, what do you think is more likely: that the game has a high number of oversights like this, or that you are, in fact, wrong?

You still having problems with your vassal situation ;) my last game I had 6... It was so much fun, no colonies either..
"you still having" is not proper English, as it lacks the auxiliary verb used in the forming of the progressive form.

Now that we've had fun, can i kindly ask you to refrain from posting any remark on the way someone writes, especially considering:
- the person you're talking to is possibly not a native English-speaker;
- you can't spell.
Thank you very much.

Worth building Duns?

I notice Axemen don't get Guerrilla promotions when made in a city with a Dun. Why is that?

You know I did write this whole thing bashing you but then I noticed your from france.. everything all of a sudden makes sense, I can't hate you for being what you are.

You get all rude, obnoxious, snobby, and act all superior and then when you offend people and they throw it back at you, what do you do? Run to a moderator, just like a... frenchman, can't believe I didn't notice earlier.

Check out this screen shot, it explains the french and there attitude more then any words I could throw around.. everytime I look at it I just laugh and feel so bad for you guys.

These guys are playing celts on highlands, to try out the guerilla promotion.

Cool Thanks!

Hi Methos -- thanks for restoring order.

I must say -- starting a religion early and getting its holy city in your capital is amazing culture -- that +5 really pushes out borders fast. I played a game with Brennus on MP just tonight... was amazed at how strong the holy city capital early on was, and, combined with monuments, had +2 culture emanating from my other cities once they had my religion.

Brennus is Charismatic/Spiritual, and half-Creative thanks to the early religion, and half-Aggressive thanks to all the promotions I was getting w/ Duns and an early Great General from defeating a Persian immortal rush with Spears.

But wow: that early holy city helped a ton -- thanks for suggesting that I slip Meditation in as my first tech!

Edit: Here's a nice analysis of Brennus over at apolyton: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=161451
