Basically, Civilization V's default controls are terrible. They're all over the place, which is just silly and makes them hard to remember, so I never use them. Worse yet, the controls in this game are inexplicably not editable from within the game. Since this game came out I've just been playing mouse-only. I recently bought a 5-button mouse. I've read that it is possible to fix the controls by manually editing the XML file, but does anyone know what I would call mouse buttons 4 and 5? They're thumb buttons 1 and 2, but I don't know if something like MBN_THUMB1 would do anything.
Mostly, I'd like to make end turn and next/last unit into mouse buttons. Maybe End Turn on middle click and Next/Last Unit on thumb 1 and 2.
