All of a sudden the editor is reading the default conquests folder and not the folder I have in scenarios folder.

The game still works fine from the executable, everything is good.

But, when I load the biq into the editor, it is reading all the default art files and not the modded ones in the scenario folder.

If I move a file from the scenario to the default folder, the editor reads it fine.

I guess I could just move everything into the default folder and things would work, but I would prefer to have the scenarios folder read.

I have done all the shutdown restart stuff, re-typed the scenario folders name, the editor is just not reading the folders in the scenarios folder.

Hoping someone has seen this before.

Never mind.

I found out the problem.

I had saved a copy of the biq to another folder for backup.

If I loaded the biq from the backup folder it would only read the default files, of course you have to load the biq from the scenarios folder so it knows which tree to go down. I was loading the biq from the wrong tree.

I was not paying attention to the folder, I only saw the name of the biq I wanted.

I knew i had encountered a similar problem but couldn't remember when or how until you posted that. I often make an "experimental" copy to use while trying things out in Quintillus' editor or testing new terrain graphics. Directory paths ...

Moderator Action: chicknex4, please stop using threads like these to make your requests. People here are fully aware of what you require; please refer back to your own thread about why people weren't taking your requests and heed the advice given in that thread. I noticed in another thread, someone kindly did one graphic for you and got a number of further requests; this makes people feel that if they do one of your requests you're going to hit them for a dozen more.

Please have a look in the historic threads where similar requests have been made; you may find there some suitable graphics. However, this type of derailment has to stop.

Thread closed; glad you got it resolved, Pounder.
