Lost in my head.
I wanted to take a building from one mod to another. I know most of the xml files I need to cross over, but when I tried finding the other files for it (the 3d model, and for units the animations; .dds .nif, etc.) but theres nothing in the art folder. Maybe a few scattered files, but nothing else. Where are all the real files if they're not in the folder to which they're referenced?

I checked the "how to make your mod faster" on the search, but there wasn't anything clear cut as to what I needed.
I saved the Pakbuild, I'll try that in a moment....

Pakbuild works, but I don't know where the files are to convert.
Seriously, I don't just mean the specific files I'm looking for. I mean that there is literally nothing there. WTH!

Forgive me if I seem tense, it's just that EVERY time I try even the smallest task with modding or otherwise there are always dozens of errors, problems, malfunctions, difficulties, etc.

Third time's the charm? I don't think so. Try thirteen.

^That would make a good qoute/proverb, wouldn't it?

you remind me when i was anoob at modding........

its was 2 years ago....
i got some grey hairs due to modding, you needs nerves of steel.

xml and art are really easy.

well.....
what excactly do you wish to merge and form which mod? so ill know what im up against...

ill try and help ya.

The files required for buildings. The .nif and .dds of the hunting lodge, as well as anything else required. from FfH I wanted to extract so I could use it in my own mod folder, I already got most of the xml files: buildingclassinfos, buildinginfos, artdefinesbuildings, the text entry and civolopedia entry I haven't done yet. I think I might be missing something else though.... But like I said, I can't find anything relating to the files I need. I'm hoping that once I find out how to do this, I can figure out the rest of it.

Oh, and I'm not a noob. I'm a newb. There is a difference.
