Elohim Tolerant Trait Question

I have an uneasy peace with the Balseraphs. I noticed I can build their palace in a captured city. What happens if I do so?

IIRC it will replace your palace.

To clarify the above, I have been informed that it will actually be replaced by a normal Elohim palace, rather than a Balseraph palace, so you can't use it to just cycle through different mana types. I've never actually tried it myself though, which is odd, because Elohim are my favourite civ to play.

In my last game with the Elohim, I was able too build a foreign palace successfully.

In that case, I have no idea. All I know is that numerous other threads in this forum in the past have told me that there's a specific check in place so that if you build a foreign palace, it will be replaced by an ordinary Elohim palace immediately after construction is completed. If that's not correct then I apologise for this misinformation.

things can also sometimes change between patches.

i guess there is only one way to find out... build it and report. i guess you could even test this in 1min by WBing a great engineer.

I went ahead and did it. You lose the Elohim Palace in Cahir Abbey and a Balseraph Palace is built in the captured city complete with it's benefits. Nothing happens to the original one in Jubilee.
