well i started at about 8 last night ended at 11 on epic seemed real fast to me unless i miss hit which speed which i dont think i did but could be a possiblity its its in the 1100's now turns are finally getting smaller but i set it to hug map and have only been ale to build 6 cities so maybe i just need more patience or something with the turns

Well i have only tried Epic on huge a huge map, the epic is fine its the huge map that is an issue. there is no way i see yet to build an empire that will span the the area i am at, so i realy see no way to cover a huge map. i am going to drop down a size. and i have 11 civs plus my self. the world is sparsly popultated. I am going to miss my huge empires. i guess the best thing to do is to try to get 8-10 cities than try and kill the rest of the civs. that or have all civs playing at the same time.
I managed to get a game in last night. I played one normal size map on cheiftien
and it seems to fly right by, the game only last 2 hours and i won the space race. I geuss the easier the dificulty the fast the game goes. Its gotta be longer than that. I geuss all those years of civ3 makes civ4 seem all that easier.
