If you have an Epson printer, you may be eligible for a $45 settlement from a lawsuit that was filed against Epson over a defect in their printers that cause them to refuse to print if they think the ink cartridge is empty when it isn't. You can collect the settlement either as a $45 credit in Epson's online store, or as a $25 check and a $20 credit in Epson's online store.

The list of qualifying printers can be found here.

I (unfortunately) have one of the printers in question. The thing has been giving me trouble ever since I got it. I'm going to go for the $25 check and $20 credit, so I can put the $25 toward buying a new (non-Epson) printer. :D

Interesting, I have one of these printers as well (C60)...I have noticed that too, I think, where it displays the ink column graph as empty even when it is not (sometimes I had put a new cartridge in). I guess I'll take the same as you, a $25 check and some credit. I could use some cash. ;)

Sorry, is this only in America?

If not I will claim :).

EDIT: Checked, this is only in the US :(.
