My idea came playing the Fall of rome scenario, where different barbarian tribes had similar but different looking swordsmen and beserks. The Gadraught looked like a normal swordsmen with different, no-helmeted head. I liked the diversity such small changes gave, so here is my idea: Introduce additional Unique Units for the main game who only look different, may be named differently and have a unique Item if you activate that option, but have same stats. Like Sweden and Denmark would have blonde-bearded swordsmen, wheres France and Germany would field the Sachs-Warriors, Persia would field Clibanarii instead of Knights and eastern civs would get some Asian style. I know that creating graphics is a lot of work, but I figure that many changes could easily be made with just copy-pasting different heads, shields, unit icons etc. like they did in the Scenario (They did so, didn't they?).
