Era Splash Crash

Era Splash changes from Industrial to Modern.
Text says we've entered a distinctly new era.
Two options: Go on, or check it out (my paraphrase).
Get a crash to desktop every time I click on Let's Play.
Anyone got any thoughts?

It could be a corrupted graphics file. Is this a new thing? Have you tried reinstalling?

Nevermind.
It was a problem with a mis-labeled custom mp3 file in the sounds/build folder.
Why it just didn't default to the original file in the conquests folder, I don't know. I had forgotten that customized sounds can wreak havoc if not done right. Just had to sleep on it.
