Error Code: -5004 : 0x80041f42

Ok, so now I tried to uninstall the game after I went through the installation process again.

I get the same error message and the game will not uninstall.

What am I doing wrong?

-.-

problem solved:

I was unable to uninstall through "remove programs", and searching for the "other" registry key proved to be a pain. I doubt I had another one...I just could not find it. But I was able to do the uninstall via the disc.

With Civ IV CD in the drive,

start > computer > right button select Civ IV disc > select 'open' > click on 'setup' (the application, not the 'files'). Since the Civ IV game is installed, the 'setup application' will detect it and ask if you want the program removed entirely from the system.

What a relief!

:crazyeye:
