Error trying to install CIV 4 gold....

Iam trying to install civ4 gold right now, and it wants me to select a path for disk 2. And ive gone through all of my drives, and nothing is working it keeps saying

"Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk. Please check that the proper disk is inserted or specify a new path. "

What can I do to fix this?

try copying the contents of all discs to one folder on your hard drive and run the install from there.

How would I go about to do that? I dont knopw how to do most of the stuff I read on these fourms. Any help there would help aswell.

is this windows xp or vista?
did the game come on two discs or on more (how many)?

My OS vista and it is the 3 disked edition. It also has warlords included in it.

on your desktop
create a new folder: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071224040125AAlT51U
then double click on my computer
then right click on your disc drive
choose open in explorer
when it is opened click on edit then on select all in the task bar (top of your screen)
then click on edit then on copy
close that window and double click on the folder you created on your desktop
when that opens click on edit then on paste in the task bar
repeat this for discs two and three
then open the folder again and look for a file called setup.exe and right click on that then choose run as administrator.
