error while playing

whenever i conquer the second to last civ and click the "what's the big picture?" button, i get an error message and the game terminates. this does not happen at any other time (as far as i can tell). is there any way to fix this? or should i just never click "what's the big picture?" after i conquer the second to last civ?

Not heard that one, before. You do that from what? iirc the popup is 1) forget 2) good they deserve it. So is that the place? Never clicked on anything other than good.

If it is I would for sure stop it. Click good and then go to the advisor or whereever you wanted.

Corrupted graphics files can cause that I think. I haven't had the same problem, but once I had a similar problem where I couldn't speak to Cleopatra without crashing. It turned out the Cleo leaderhead graphics file was corrupted. What screen is supposed to show up when you look at the big picture? Perhaps a graphic file for that screen is bad.
