Espionage Not Working BNW

Anyone have espionage stop working in BNW? One game it was working for me and next game it stopped. I get the new spies each era and the AI can do espionage but I can't get to espionage screen. Even control e doesn't work. I can also go back to G&K and espionage is working there but returning to BNW is a go no. I'm stumped.

Did you actually click the button on the main screen or just tried to get there via shortcut? Shortcut might have just changed due to more options now?

If so, then try to verify your game files via steam. If that doesn't fix it either I'd have to guess that you are using mods which are breaking this, try to disable all of them and activating them 1 by 1 again to find out which is causing the trouble. If all of that fails... reinstalling the whole game always might work

Verifying cache did the trick and now all 3 means work: notification, top icon and control e shortcut. No I idea what caused it. But it did only affect BNW and not G&K.
