europa universalis 3 doesnt work on xp

Hi guys,

I run the .exe file for the EU3 game. I press escape to quit the cutsence only to be presented with a crash to desktop.

I used Dr. Watson Debugger for more information, got the following:

Yeah the Paradox forums would be the best bet. It runs fine on XP for me.

It works fine for me, although I've never seen the cutscene/intro movie... (never knew there was one). Just reinstall - probably a bad install.

XP sure isn't the problem here.

XP works fine. Try updating your video card drivers or even adjusting default screen resolution. If that don't work reinstall.
