F**king Global Warming!

How do I stop global warming? Don't say "clean up polution" because I do, manually so there are no mistakes, every turn (and let me tell you, a continent of size 40 cities of an Industrial civilization makes a lot polution every turn). I don't even dare build factories because that would just cause the problem to escalate (if it could). So WTH? Why do I still get hit by globabl warming? I can only watch my best farmland turned to desert so many times before quitting. There has got to be a solution that I am missing...

Sometimes you have to invest all your research in reaching 'Ecology' so you can build mass transit, and recycling so you can build recycling plants. I rarely make it through a game without at least a few squares changing status due to global warming. I just learn to live with it.

Get mass transportation and recycling as fast as you can. streamline the researching so you get those.
