Faction Editor

Hello everyone i am rather new to this game; however, i was wondering when you use the faction editor how does one create their own faction? I know Yang comes up first, but if i edit Yang do i create my own or am i simply overwriting the hive faction?

Yang is the default that comes up when you start facedit, but as long as when you save it, you save as a different name than one that is currently used by the game you will create your own file.

After saving a custom faction with facedit another screen pops up that allows you to add that faction to the game or remove any other custom factions from the game that were already added. In order to play your faction in game you must add it to the game with that screen. I believe there is a maximum of 8 custom factions that can be added to the game at any given time.
