I've read through the 11 pages of one tech-help thread and an entire other one, and saw no one with my problem. My game is fast, the movie works, and everything seems to run smoothely, thanks to the newest patch.
However, my map is discolored. It's not the black problem that a lot of people had, it's all there, it's just this ugly grayish/greenish/brownish- not the lush colors of the screenshots, or what I've seen on my friend's computer.
I've had this game for about six months now, and the patch got me excited to play. After so long of waiting, it seems that I'm finally close to the experience, and yet this aesthetic issue is enough to stop me.
