"Failed to load Worldbuilder file"

I get this error when I try to load downloaded mods in BtS 3.19. They don't appear in the mods list at all, and I get the error when I open them from Windows.

what mod are you trying to use?
where do you install it to?

It's the "A Clash of Kingdoms" mod from this site, although I had the problem with another mod from this site, I can't remember which one.

I tried putting it in both Mods folders, in the game directory and My Documents, didn't work either way.

are you sure these mods are updated to 3.19?

No, that could be the problem.

usually a mod that would fail after a patch would just crash the game without an error message - but it is *possible* that such error messages also occur. Do the mods that come with the game work?

Yep, they do.

I'd suggest asking in the threads maintaining those mods if they are compatible with 3.19
