I think all Antiquity paths are quite nice. Although Economy can be very difficult on island maps as it seems. Yet, I don't expect any changes here nor do I think they are necessary. Maybe alternatives at some point.

My favorites are science and economy in Exploration though. I also like the military in Exploration and Modern, but they aren't that special.

Culture in Exploration also isn't too bad once you realize that you just need to focus on a few things to generate the relics and not on converting half the world. However, this one should scale with number of civs in the game!

I don't like going to war so I'll stay neutral (😋) on all the military paths as I'll probably never play them

👍 Antiquity : Culture , Science and Economy - I think all legacy paths in Antiquity are fun - still my favourite age in the game

👍 Exploration : Science and Economy - I really like the science path - It's a lot of fun to try and maximise the yields
👎Exploration : Culture - The missionary spread game is not fun to me - probably my least favourite of all non military legacy paths

👍 Modern : Economy , Science
🫱 Modern : Culture - not as bad as religion in exploration but not my favourite either - It's fine

All 4 are fun in the ancient era.

Culture in explo isnt fun, due to how religion is handled. Econ/Mil are fun. I dont do to well with the science one, due to needing lots of high yield tiles.

I dont find the 4 in Modern to be as fun as i would like. Culture needs better pacing. Econ is a slow and steady grind. You kinda just forget about it once you get your factories up. The military one seems like a long grind. The science one is probably fine, but i win with culture or econ before i get to finish it.

I’ve gone for economic in Modern in each game I’ve played so far and always end up just a few turns shy of winning it when my science or culture victory kicks in instead (my fault for pursuing those but I like to have a backup).

I find the extra setup time of the factories and railroads (especially currently when it’s not clear what settlements are connected to which others) to be the killer - especially if I have significant cities with lots of crucuial factory slots in the distant lands. Getting them hooked into the trade network sufficient for factories feels a hit and miss at the minute.

I agree wholeheartedly with almost all of these assessments.
My only area of disagreement is with respect to the Ideology military legacy path in the Modern Age.
In my first two games I sprinted to get an Ideology, and was constantly dragged into wars by my allies.
As a result, I always got the the end of the Ideology path without even trying.

However, the system as is doesn't feel like I'm in a Cold (or hot) War with commies;
other than a few civics that I hesitate to equip due to their maluses, not enough differentiates Democracies from fascists from commies
I'd modify the Ideology points to be awarded based on how many of the ideology-specific policies are enacted by both sides.
Being a bastion of freedom and liberating a city from hardcore communists should be more rewarding than two functionally similar powers merely competing for global hegemony.
