Favourite Wonder Completion Movie?

This is one of my favourite "new" things in CIV. Just wondering what everyones favourite animation is. I quite like Stonehenge (because for so long it was the subject of so many "it was built like this.." theories and The Internet (just because its pretty neat looking)

I like the sixtine chapel. Mostly because of the light effects inside the chapel.

The Hanging Gardens. Of CIV2, however. The CIV4 wonder videos are a compilation of uncreativity, IMHO. More some "look what we can do with 3dsmax" demonstration than "wonder". I long for the ingenuity and humor of the SMAC wonder viedos, though.

To be honest, none of them really wow me like the Civ2 movies did. I think it's because they all follow the same "theme" - you see the little scaffolding animation and watch the wonder taking shape. Which is cool and all, but the Civ2 movies were really a lot more artistic. The Hanging Gardens and Darwin's Voyage movies, in particular, I still remember being really outstanding. They made for a nice end to a long playing session.

My favourite is the Great Lighthouse!

I like the way it's presented...at the end the torch fire is really neat!

I'm not much of a fan of them either, having being wowed by the Civ2 movies, but they are much better than Civ3's effort.

T'was my first dissapointment in Civ4 when I realised that every wonder movie is exactly the same, except for the building has changed. The Internet movie was pretty neat though, I'll admit.

I like Sistine Chapel one. It does not just show how it is build, but what is inside.

ahhh, i only started playing at CIV III you see, so thats probally why i enjoy the movies more. much better than the static picture and "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON" sound from CIV III

Exactly. If you've seen one, you've seen them all. They don't feel like they are about the wonder, just a build animation. Only a couple of them, like Sistine Chapel, have at least a bit of the old Civ 2 or SMAC wonder movie feel in them. Of course they beat Civ 3 with no wonder movies at all, though

I haven't seen them all yet. But my favourite is the Pyramids. It's just so grand!

I like the music from Statue of Liberty. Or the parts I can hear anyway (it's really choppy )

I like the Eiffel Tower, perhaps because it's one of the few I've seen in real life(well, obviously I've seen the Internet... ), and I like the fountains in front of it.
Though I also think mere build animations get a little boring.
My all-time favourite movie is The Self-Aware Colony from Alpha Centauri. That's just creepy...

The Civ II Oracle movie. Limiting it to Civ IV, I guess I would go with Pie-es-Tasty and pick The Manhatten Project. It adds that little extra that the others don't have.

My favorite one is definitally Shakespeare's Theater from Civ 2.
