Is this a glitch or does the unit support per town get less as the city gets bigger?

No glitch. That's the way it is supposed to be.

The only way to make use of this government is to have an empire of lots of small <6 size cities.

I personally dislike this government, not my style.

i thought that bonus adds up,for example a commie metro gives 18 support?

No, the bonus does not add up. You notice for [most governments excluding Feudalism and Despotism], the unit support goes up for each new city rank. That is because as your cities get bigger, you can support more units:

For example, Monarch (2.4.8).

A town gets 2, a city is bigger and gets 4, and a metro is the biggest, so it gets 8, not 14. :)

I stand corrected. The Info center says 2.4.8. :hmm:

C3C change?

From C3C Civilopedia: 6.6.6
From PtW Civilopedia: 2.4.8
From Vanilla Civ Civilopedia: 2.4.8

So, yes, it's a new change in C3C, probably to make communism more appealing to smaller-sized cities...

Communism is great.

Really, the added production and low corruption in C3C 1.22 make more than up for the somewhat slower research and the pop rushing method.

Thanks guys, helped alot.

Does the unit support cost for Feudalism make any Sense? how can a small town have more support than a booming metropolis??

Sid Monster,

It was created for large empires (probably on large or huge maps), with poor to ok terrain, which would mean lots of small cities. However, with those small cities would also take a long time to produce units, so I don't use it often, though it could come in handy.

Most people definitely avoid this government unless they wanted a serious challenge like I know there's one succession game which some group of players play as Mongols, Difficulty Demigod, revolt into Feudalism for the rest of a game, and achieving Domination Victory.

Could someone explain to me in detail, "What is unit support?"

I have a vague idea of it and was trying yesterday to find some information explaining it, but couldn't find it on this site.
