Fewer units=more valuable units =fear of combat

Anything that adds strategy to fighting is a good thing. There should be a way also be a way to give bonus for attack a unit from opposite directions on the same turn as well.

wow man, if you don't like civ why are you on this forum? And how does reading some previews "falsifie[s your] experience"? I agree, you can't tell what it is going to be like untill you play it but why be such a buzz kill?

Hey, who said i didn't like civ?? None..........

About falsifying experience, call it "spoiler" if you want... I just don't want to know all about the game in advance, and prefer to discover it playing it. Civ gameplay is not that deep that it have infinite replay value, no: it comes to be always the same at a point. (and becomes boring!)

Most of civ's systems are crude. And as populations get bigger, so do army divisions. And theoretically each unit would represent one division. A whole division should represent one pop and require food to match.

You know, since it is suppose to represent so many units. It should visually look like more then one unit.

Please see my More realistic growth system idea for additional ideas concerning army units being population but still having a presence at home.. (just added a post with more ideas)
