Also, are there any events (Im especially thinking of creation of Barbarian heroes) who are quite random. Obviously playing with the Elves with Acheron spawning next to you isnt quite the same as if its spawn in a very different place...
I tested Acheron and Orthus, the game doesn't insert a second one when they are already in the game. so they can be inserted from the start (tonight i'll test what happens if you kill Orthus before his normal spawning date). this would remove the randomness of Acheron/Orthus appearing in a different location in everyones games. and i think their appearance location has a large effect on the game, so should be standardized for all players.
There are some side effects from doing this, such as the dragons horde starting earlier, so it'll have more culture, and Orthus will be a bit harder as he'll have more time to gain experiance (but then many people have been asking about making him stronger). I've done some tests and it seems to work ok.
