Firefox 1.5 (not 1.0.5)

Mozilla has released a beta of Firefox 1.5, it is available for download here ,be warned though, it might be glitchy, plus there is no skin support for it besides the default one

I dunno if i would trust a beta or not, i'll download it just to see what the new features are, but i'll still use 1.0 til they release the final verson.

Well it works quite well actually and I read somewhere that there will be skin support in a few weeks, or was that months. Anyway the final will be released in late 2005 (ie:november, december)

EDIT: If you download 1.5, youre gonna have to install it over your current version

it goes alpha , then beta, then release. alpha is even worse.

users beware, it is buggy, or it is beta for reason.

on other hand, every windows is between alpha and beta

and yes, it overwrites existing version even if you state different installation folder.

I dont think that this was mentioned; most extensions are not compatible with v1.5-BETA either.

One thing I noticed that it does better on a cold start than opera and IE

I think I'll try it, but I might not stick with it if there are too many problems.
