Maybe you should run a few checks using various anti-spyware programs. See what they show up.

I did a spyware check and got one or two things.
When i fixed those, firefox crashed when it loaded the homepage.
We need one of those "IE sucks, get firefox" adds, accept it says "Screw them both, get Opera!"

BTW, yeah I've gone to Opera.
