First September HOF Update

The Civilization III Hall of Fame has been updated. 64 games were accepted since the previous update.

Congratulations to Obormot for the highest Firaxis score of the update with a Tiny Sid Conquest game for 29681 points.

archphoenix was the most active player during this update, submitting 12 games.

Only 3 players were brave enough to take on Sid this update. Karl_t_great submitted a 2050 AD Tiny Sid Histographic game for 5393 points. Obormot submitted a 1600 BC Tiny Sid Conquest game for 29681 points. osi submitted a 1600 AD Large Sid Domination game for 9212 points.

A number of players are working towards the Quartermaster, gaining awards as follows:
Machiavelli : WillowBrook, Karl_t_great, Warelit & archphoenix became full Machiavellians. Chamnix rose from 4th to 3rd, Tone rose from 5th to 4th, a space oddity rose from 9th to 8th and BlackBetsy rose from 11th to 10th. eldar is no longer a Machiavellian.
Pentathlon : WillowBrook, Karl_t_great & archphoenix became full Pentathletes. killercane rose from 6th to 5th, Denniz rose from 11th to 10th, Mad2rix rose from 12th to 11th, BlackBetsy rose from 16th to 15th and SideshowBob rose from 21st to 19th. eldar is no longer a Pentathlete.
Octathlon : WillowBrook, Karl_t_great & Miraculix became full Octathletes. Tone rose from 2nd to 1st, killercane rose from 4th to 3rd, osi rose from 9th to 7th and DaveMcW rose from 25th to 9th.
Histographic : Karl_t_great & archphoenix gained entrance to the Histographic table.

Congratulations to DaveMcW for winning the August Major Gauntlet, guiding his Iroquois to a 590bc win on a Huge Monarch Conquest. Congratulations also to Tone for winning G-Minor2 with a 3450bc Aztec Conquest victory on a Small Warlord map.

@superslug, I really think the 2nd/3rd places in the Gauntlet ought to get some kind of mention. Of course, I may be a little biased :

Well done Obormot for that tiny Sid game . I had tried the Egyptians a couple of times and found them even more frustrating than the Aztecs, but clearly it was the way to go.

Dave McW's game results are getting ever more astonishing .

I'm also working hard (really!) to maintain a reasonable mental sanity - this excludes civ3, but leaves me with an hour a day of Warcraft3.
I also finished reading "Satan in Moscow" (aka "The artist and Margarita").

Small/Warlord wasn't a problem - 1090AD diplo, so unless that gets Gauntlet-ed, secure enough

I also lost my Conquest slot though - that's a tougher one to fill!
