I went to Wendy's and ordered a number 3, extra cheese, biggie sized, with a dr. pepper to drink. For those of you who do not frequent Wendy's enough to know what a number 3 is, I shall share: the number 3 is a regular hamburger, with three patties stacked under the two thinnish buns. Between each slab of beef is a slice of all-american cheese, and on top of it all is lettuce, tomatoe, pickles, and a big 'ol glob of mayonaise.

these things are sooooo greasy, they have to double-wrap them... the first wrapping (the foil kind, mind you) is totally see-though. When I ordered this meal, biggie sized, with extra cheese... the guy taking my order said "Right on!" When I drove up to get it from the window, another guy said "Right on!" I think he may have wanted to shake my hand.

In any case, I've gotta go. Mmm... sweet burning sensation... arteries clogging...
*thunk*

I thought American cheese is the stuff that comes in a handy spray can... :)

I do love 1/2 lb burgers tho. (no pickle please) :goodjob:

I was at Harvey's today myself (a Canadian burger chain). They have a veggie burger there, light, not too greasy, and yet very tasty. It has become their top seller and beloved by both vegetarians and non-vergetarians alike.

You can get it with real Canadian cheddar.

Of course I had poutine with it which cancels out the healthier steps I took in ordering my burger.

I always thought it was a half cooked slice of Lasagna in my burger....

btw, WTH is a pattie??????????

A patty is a term used to refer to the individual (slice?, chunk?, piece?) of ground beef that forms a hamburger.

As in the old McDonald's Big Mac jingle: "Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, 'n' onion on a sesame seed bun" :D

The Wendy's number three may have three patties of beef, but this topic has at least that many slabs of SPAM.:crazyeye:

I rarely ever have lunch, as I am still asleep :vampire:

Burgers are bad.
Pizzas are bad.
Ice cream is bad.

Rye bread is goood...
*trys to do some hypnotozing and converting, failing miserably*

And I don't like burgers anyway.
And around my part of the world, burgers are considered almost on the level of junkfood cos the common ones we see are fastfood type i.e. Burger King, McD's etc. :crazyeye:

Had wantan noodles for lunch today. No, don't ask what it is.

HIGHLY addictive - particularly with onions, mustard, mayo, hot peppers and lettuce. I highly recommend this combination: it's the mustard/mayo/onion thing that makes the flavor perfect.

But I don't use cheese, it ruins the flavor.

But right now (it's 8:56am and I am just starting work) it's an ultragreasy A & W Bacon n' egger meal with extra hashbrowns. So greasy, there's a little greasemark on my trackpad thing on the laptop.

PS Knight Dragon - I am also a bad addict for this dish in a cheezy local house that claims to be a carbon copy of Singaporese fast food. It's a noodle dish that I've been trying to copy at home: rice noodles, peppers, chives or green onions, tofu, some other unmemorable veggies and heaps of madras curry. The one thing I can't figure out is what they are cooking the noodles in on the grill; some sort of browning sauce that definitely is not plain soya. Ideas?

Fast Food outlet burgers are always greasy crap and bad; I do prefer the ones made in and purchased from small fish and chip shops or the like; better ingredients, more bang for buck, and ye see it cooked.
It takes longer, but it is better.

You should try the fish & chips in England. Actually, you shouldn't try them. They're bloody awful.

I used to eat fish and chips at a place called the Golden Hind near Baker Street in London. I thought it was quite good.

Well, I'll keep that in mind, but there are some damn brilliant places around near me, so I will not really be needing to go to England to get my tea
